uropean e-commerce agency Strix announced today that German agency Webweit joins the group. Strix will now have branches in Poland (Kraków), the Netherlands (Utrecht), and Germany (Frankfurt). As a result, the number of group employees will increase by 25% and reach 200 e-commerce specialists this year.

The cooperation strengthens both the group and the German agency. Webweit can scale its business beyond the German market, and Strix, which already operates in Poland and the Netherlands, expands its opportunities to acquire customers in the DACH region.

"We welcome Webweit's experienced and highly professional team as members of the Strix group. We are consistently increasing the potential of synergies in the group, which are beneficial to all participants. We are increasing our competitiveness by combining our experiences and will draw from the diversity of complementary markets," says Borys Skraba, CEO of Strix PL and Managing Director of Strix Group.

Strix is strengthening its competencies in building and servicing commerce platforms for large and medium-sized enterprises. In Poland, they have created online shops for brands such as Castorama, Dr. Max, Modivo, Tous, Sportano, Lancerto, and Decathlon. The Dutch branch services brands such as Skins Cosmetics, WAHTS, Marie-Stella-Maris, Oneway Bike, and the prestigious Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Webweit is one of the leading German e-commerce agencies specializing in building online shops based on the Shopware platform (one of the most popular in Europe, alongside Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento), platforms for managing e-shops). Webweit currently services brands such as Brita, Douglas, König, or Interpneu

Marten Lehmann, CEO of Webweit, will join the board of Strix Group, which includes the brand's founder, Borys Skraba, and Marc-Paul Brandt, CEO of Strix NL. The parties did not disclose details of the transaction.

"We welcome Marten to the board of Strix Group and are pleased that he shares our values and vision on digital commerce," said Marc-Paul Brandt, Managing Director of Strix Group. "We focus on continuous development, expanding and strengthening the competencies of the Strix Group. Knowledge transfer, good organization, and expert approach to managing the most popular systems such as Shopware, Adobe Commerce (Magento), BigCommerce, and Shopify Plus are our distinguishing features."

Regarding the Shopware platform, it should be emphasized that Webweit's close cooperation with the authors of this technology dates back to 2010. At that time, Webweit became historically one of the first Shopware only partners when this platform, now popular, was just developing. This means a wealth of experience in implementing the latest e-commerce solutions based on this very common technology in Western Europe.

Now, as part of the merger with Strix Group, Webweit creates space for more effective implementation of its pan-European ambitions.

"We have the opportunity to compare perspectives from three markets - Dutch, Polish, and German. In the era of developing cross-border trade, it is great to have access to projects with a transnational scale," commented Marten Lehmann, founder of Webweit.

Strix Group is a dynamically developing European e-commerce agency. After the recent expansion, the agency operates in the Netherlands (Utrecht), Poland (Krakow) and Germany (Frankfurt) with clients in the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and the UK.
