Last week, the grand halls of London played host to the biggest EMEA event organised by BigCommerce - The BigCommerce Partner Summit. Drawing attendees from all corners of Europe, the event showcased BigCommerce's escalating prominence in the ecommerce realm.

On June 6 in Warsaw we held a business lunch, organized together with commercetools, our technology partner. The event was aimed at meeting the most important e-commerce market players in Poland and representatives of commercetools, a leader in composable commerce solutions.

E-commerce agency webweit, which implements solutions based on Shopware and Shopify Plus, is undergoing rebranding and changing its name to Strix, after the March merge and joining the Strix Group. The rebranding of the German company is a consequence of the realization of the strategy of building digital commerce player with international reach.

Since its foundation, webweit (part of the Strix Group since March) has provided services entirely focused on Shopware. As an implementation partner, the company has hundreds of challenging projects to its credit. And while Shopware has remained a core service of the agency all along, it is time for a change and a natural step toward further development.

Entrepreneur and e-commerce expert Daniel Höhnke, CEO of the agency Pixup Media for many years and Managing Director EMEA at Overdose Digital - joins the European digital commerce agency Strix, where he is responsible for business development in the DACH market and for the international expansion of the business as Director of Growth.

European e-commerce agency Strix announced today that German agency Webweit joins the group. Strix will now have branches in Poland (Kraków), the Netherlands (Utrecht), and Germany (Frankfurt). As a result, the number of group employees will increase by 25% and reach 200 e-commerce specialists this year.
