TATUUM and Strix win e-Commerce Polska Awards 2026 for cross-border e-commerce

ATUUM and Strix have won the e-Commerce Polska Awards 2026 in the Best in Crossborder category. The award recognizes a project focused on building a stable, scalable e-commerce foundation ready to support TATUUM’s continued growth across international markets.

TATUUM operates across multiple markets, combining e-commerce with an extensive network of physical stores. As the brand grew, its existing e-commerce architecture became increasingly difficult to scale. Different currencies, pricing and promotions, local payment and delivery methods, multiple languages and market-specific requirements all added complexity to further international expansion.

This is the project that was recognized by the e-Commerce Polska Awards jury.

An e-commerce platform built for multiple markets

One of the key goals of the project was to create an architecture that would allow TATUUM to expand internationally without having to rebuild core parts of its e-commerce ecosystem every time a new market was added.

As part of the project, Strix analyzed the existing ecosystem, prepared a blueprint and designed the target architecture, including clear responsibilities across the different systems.

The new solution is based on Magento with a Hyvä frontend and Ergonode PIM, which provides a structured approach to managing product information. Read the TATUUM case study

The architecture supports, among other things:

  • multiple markets, languages and currencies,
  • market-specific pricing, promotions and assortments,
  • local payment and delivery methods,
  • product and variant management,
  • integration between online and offline sales,
  • a loyalty programme,
  • complex discount rules,
  • further development of the omnichannel ecosystem.

PIM as a foundation for international growth

An important part of the project was the implementation of Ergonode PIM. Previously, product information was distributed across different systems, which made managing products across multiple markets, languages and variants more complex and increased the amount of manual work.

The PIM became the central layer for structuring and distributing product information - from attributes and categories to media, translations and market-specific data.

This gives TATUUM greater control over how its product offering is prepared and presented across different markets and channels.

Cross-border is more than translating a store

The TATUUM project shows that international e-commerce requires much more than launching another language version of an online store.

Every new market can bring different customer expectations, payment and delivery methods, promotional rules, pricing models, product assortments and offline sales requirements. That is why international expansion needs to be considered at the level of the entire e-commerce architecture.

For TATUUM, maintaining business continuity was also an important part of the project. The new architecture was implemented without interrupting sales, while the system remained stable under high traffic and intensive data exchange with back-office systems.

Technology that does not limit future growth

The result is an architecture designed not only for TATUUM’s current scale, but also for the next stages of its growth.

The new solution makes it possible to develop additional markets and omnichannel scenarios without having to redesign the fundamental e-commerce mechanisms each time. At the same time, structuring product data and clearly defining the responsibilities of individual systems has reduced the need for temporary solutions that previously compensated for technology limitations.

For us, this award is particularly meaningful because it recognizes not a single feature or visual change, but the technology behind an e-commerce business that is ready to grow across markets.

TATUUM × Strix - a shared award

We would like to thank the TATUUM team for their trust and for the work we have done together on this project. Combining TATUUM’s business expertise with Strix’s e-commerce and technology experience allowed us to build a solution designed around the real challenges of international growth.

Congratulations to everyone at TATUUM and Strix on winning the e-Commerce Polska Awards 2026 in the Best in Crossborder category.
