Challenge

Two brands on one platform

The biggest challenge was bringing both brands together on a single platform. Previously, identical content management was spread across multiple channels, causing duplicate work and a higher risk of data errors. Inofec needed a solution that would let both webshops be managed from one environment, while still keeping their own identity.

Solution

Brand-specific product content from a single structure

By switching to Shopware, Inofec now benefits from one clear category structure for both shops. All articles can be assigned to one or both shops, while shop-specific variations remain possible at the detail level. This lets both brands show their own product content, without doubling the management effort.

Custom modules for follow-up and visibility

To speed up how quotation requests are handled, Sition, now known as Strix, developed a quote module that lets B2B customers submit a request straight from their shopping cart, without creating an account and without immediately reserving stock. On top of that, a blog module helps Inofec highlight notable projects. Beyond the standard categories and products, this enriches the webshop with unique content, strengthening online visibility and discoverability.

Seamless integration into existing business processes

Inofec was already using Perfion for product management and Navision for its ERP system. Strix built n8n integrations so the new webshop connects seamlessly into these existing workflows.

Results

The renewed Shopware webshop delivered clear growth in customer satisfaction and sales. Improved processes lowered operational costs and strengthened inventory management, boosting Inofec's online presence and laying the groundwork for further digital development. Looking ahead, Inofec is exploring AI-driven recommendations and personalised marketing campaigns.

"Strix thinks along with its clients, realises ideas and does that 'remarkably well.'"

"With these improvements, Inofec is better positioned to further grow its market share and serve its customers even better. The collaboration with Strix is an excellent example of how technology and strategic thinking come together to achieve business objectives," says Sjors Maher.
