Chocolatemakers chooses Strix for the development of their new Shopify platform

hocolatemakers, the sustainable chocolatier known for its delicious organic and emission-free chocolate, has selected Strix as its partner for the development of a new Shopify platform. This platform aligns with Chocolatemakers’ mission to make sustainable products more accessible to a wider audience while enabling further growth.

A digital foundation for sustainable growth

With ten years of experience producing chocolate in a fully sustainable and emission-free way, Chocolatemakers has become a well-known name. To strengthen their digital presence, Strix is building a new Shopify platform that combines flexibility, ease of use, and scalability. This platform will support Chocolatemakers’ growth ambitions and make it easier for customers to discover and order their products online.

One of the things I enjoy the most about working with the Strix team is how they take the time to truly understand what I envision for our website (from my very non-technical background), and are able to deliver a user-friendly, easy-to-shop website that displays our brand beautifully.

With their sustainable approach—including using the sailing ship Tres Hombres to transport cocoa and bike couriers for deliveries—Chocolatemakers is committed to a greener future. In addition to production, their factory and guided tours play a key role in sharing their ideals and passion for sustainable chocolate.
