Shopify Premier agency Eshop Guide joins Strix

Strix, a European digital commerce agency, has acquired the German Shopify Premier agency Eshop Guide. Eshop Guide is one of the first Shopify partners in the DACH region and is well known for delivering high-quality Shopify projects and apps for international brands such as GIESSWEIN, New Balance, ELHO and Ortlieb.

With the acquisition of Eshop Guide, Strix further strengthens its Shopify proposition and accelerates its growth in Germany. The addition of Eshop Guide brings Strix’s German team to over 100 e-commerce specialists.

Eshop Guide was founded in 2016 by Oliver Schönbett, Patrick Rosenblatt and Dave Crowder as a Shopify-only e-commerce agency. From the start, the company positioned itself at the forefront of Shopify innovation in the DACH market and quickly grew into one of the leading Shopify specialists in the region. As one of the early Shopify partners in Germany, Eshop Guide played a key role in shaping the local Shopify ecosystem.

Joining Strix is a great next step for Eshop Guide. From the very beginning we have focused exclusively on Shopify and on building long-term partnerships with our clients. By becoming part of Strix, we can accelerate our growth, share knowledge with a broader group of specialists and continue to innovate for our clients, while preserving our culture and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Oliver Schönbett (co-founder and COO of Eshop Guide)

Germany currently counts around 200 Shopify partners, of which only six hold the prestigious Shopify Premier Partner status. Eshop Guide is one of them, recognised for its strong delivery track record, deep Shopify expertise and contribution to the Shopify ecosystem.

In addition to delivering hundreds of successful Shopify projects, Eshop Guide operates a dedicated app team and has developed several successful Shopify apps like Lexware Office and sevdesk Buchhaltung that are used by merchants internationally, further strengthening its reputation as a technology-driven partner.

Eshop Guide is a perfect strategic fit for Strix. They are one of the strongest Shopify players in Germany, with an impressive track record, strong apps and a highly experienced team. This acquisition strengthens our Shopify capabilities, significantly expands our German footprint and supports our ambition to become Europe’s leading digital commerce agency.
- Marten Lehmann (COO Strix Group):

The acquisition aligns with Strix Group’s strategy of expanding its footprint in key European markets and fostering an ecosystem of leading e-commerce professionals. With a presence in multiple countries, Strix is committed to driving digital transformation and supporting businesses in their digital growth.

What attracted us to Strix is the combination of scale, international ambition and a clear focus on craftsmanship. We see many opportunities to grow together, both for our people and for our clients, by combining our Shopify expertise with Strix’s broader digital commerce capabilities.
- Patrick Rosenblatt (co-founder and CEO of Eshop Guide)

The combined expertise of both organisations will result in enhanced service offerings, stronger technological capabilities and an even more dynamic approach to e-commerce innovation.
