ntrepreneur and e-commerce expert Daniel Höhnke (39), CEO of the agency Pixup Media for many years and Managing Director EMEA at Overdose Digital - joins the European digital commerce agency Strix, where he is responsible for business development in the DACH market and for the international expansion of the business as Director of Growth.

Höhnke knows the industry. For over 15 years, he accompanied the expansion of companies in various industries - first as Managing Director of Pixup Media, a Shopware partner agency that was awarded "Best-Selling Shopware Partner" in 2016. In recent years, he managed the European business of Overdose, an agency with clients such as KPM Berlin, Tamara Comolli and DeFacto. Here he was responsible for the overall business development - not only on the operational level - but also for developing further expansion strategies for the agency's clients. According to him, the desire for growth has become part of his DNA:

Working in an international environment and getting insights into what's happening beyond the European horizon is of great value not only for me but also for our customers. Finding new solutions, leveraging technology and creating benefits for customers is what drives me the most. I am looking forward to the new role and can't wait to contribute to the development of Strix, which is becoming one of the fastest growing digital commerce agencies in Europe, says Höhnke.

Throughout his professional life, he has always taken a partnership approach. His strategies have contributed to the success of numerous projects with brands such as Shopware, Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Nosto, Adobe, BigCommerce, Algolia, Commercetools, DotDigital, Reviews.io and other companies relevant to the German and European e-commerce scene.

In addition, Daniel Höhnke is known as a thought leader through several public appearances at events such as the Shopware Community Day or Fashion Week. His e-commerce podcast "E-Commerce Dudes" is one of the most listened podcasts in the German-speaking commerce scene. He is also not afraid to pass on his knowledge to the minds of tomorrow and regularly gives talks on digitization, for example at the TU and Freie Universität Berlin.

We are very pleased to have Daniel on board and are sure that his experience and ideas will contribute to the sustainable strengthening of Strix in the DACH markets, but also to the improvement of the performance of the whole group, says Marten Lehmann, Managing Director of Strix Group and founder webweit gmbh.

At Strix, Höhnke will be responsible for both business expansion and brand development in the DACH region. The company has been successfully operating in the e-commerce industry for almost 15 years, helping companies not only with digital transformation, but also with the development of online retail strategies that add tangible value to the business.

After merging with agencies from the Netherlands and Germany, Strix has enormous potential to reach a broad international clientele with its services. I intend to use my experience in building a global sales force and creatively contribute to a culture focused on strengthening long-term client relationships and growth, says Daniel Höhnke.
