Highlights from Shopify Connect Poland

n March 25, 2025, the first edition of Shopify Connect Poland took place at the stunning The Tides venue in Warsaw. Organized by Shopify and Strix, with Digital Experts Club as the event partner, the gathering brought together a vibrant community of merchants to explore the potential of Shopify and share their e-commerce journeys.

Inspiring talks and valuable insights


The event kicked off with a keynote by Maurice Junghans from Shopify, who showcased the extensive features of the platform and highlighted how it empowers both local and global business growth.
Next, Magdalena Limanówka-Kuciel, CTO at Strix Poland, demonstrated how Shopify can be a robust solution for enterprise-level businesses, offering the scalability and flexibility needed in today’s competitive landscape.
In the case study segment, Pola Kudryk from The Odder Side shared her brand’s experience with migrating to Shopify Plus, candidly discussing the challenges and rewards of the transition in the fashion sector.
Mateusz Haberny from Oakywood followed with insights on how his business is scaling successfully with Shopify, emphasizing the importance of process optimization and smart integrations.
A finale of the event was the expert panel discussion moderated by Tomasz Lis from Digital Experts Club, featuring Sebastian Watras (Nationale-Nederlanden) and Przemysław Romanowski (W.KRUK). The panel tackled difficult but necessary questions around the right timing for tech transformation, comparing different models.

A valuable experience for merchants


Beyond the presentations, Shopify Connect Poland offered merchants a unique space for networking and knowledge-sharing. The presence of key Shopify representatives, including Lisa Loecken and Maurice Junghans, enabled meaningful conversations about the platform’s roadmap and best practices.

With the support of Shopify, Strix, and Digital Experts Club, this inaugural event was a great success - setting the tone for future editions aimed at fostering the growth of the Shopify ecosystem in Poland.
