Strixperience 2023 - another team building trip is behind us!

B

ank robbery, plans for the future and fun until the morning - this is how this year's Strix integration trip can be summarised in a nutshell. This time, in a group of over a hundred colleagues, we met in the picturesque surroundings of Wadowice to spend two intensive days together.

Autumn integration trips are a perfect opportunity to meet Strixers in a different form than every day - instead of in front of a computer screen, we meet live, which in the era of remote working does not happen often. As the Strix Group is going from strength to strength, and we already have branches in Poland, the Netherlands and Germany, it is not easy to meet in such a large group in one place and time.

We started our trip in a rather original way... with a bank robbery! As part of relationship building among the employees, we were divided into teams and tried to solve various puzzles to get into the vault. There were quite a few ideas, and as we highly value creativity and respect the opinions of others in line with the #EmbracingDifferences principle, together we chose ways to get to the solution of the puzzles. It was happening! Brains were steaming, but in the end we managed to rob a bank!

In the evening, a gala event was held to remember the successes of 2023. And there is much to boast about! Without us Strixers, we would not have achieved all this, after all the Strix Group is us - incredibly talented and committed people. Each and every one of us has contributed to this success and for this #TeamSpirit we deserve a huge round of applause. Every day we prove that synergy is not a foreign term to us and together we can do even more! We also talked about plans for the coming year. New challenges, projects, technologies - we will not be bored. After all, #PushingBoundaries is one of our core values! Our CEO, Borys Skraba, also discussed the situation on the e-commerce market, trends and forecasts for the coming quarters. Despite the various circumstances we have to reckon with, we are not slowing down - #SolutionThinking is in our blood!

As every year, we also celebrated the jubilee of our "five-year-old" - employees who have been with us for 5 years! We are very grateful to them for their cooperation and look forward to many more years together. Our autumn trip is also the occasion to present Strixfighter awards to people who have shown exceptional commitment and out-of-the-box thinking. This year, as many as 19 people were awarded statuettes. Congratulations!

This trip showed that we form one team, despite our different projects, responsibilities and even countries. We know how to have fun and work together effectively. See you soon!

Optimizing Largest Contentful Paint: Lazy vs. Eager Loading

Web performance optimization has come a long way, particularly in how we handle image loading.
