e've entered 2023 with momentum and it seems that each month brings even more! Conferences, webinars, ebooks, and mergers. Summing up the first half of the year, we cannot believe how much we’ve achieved. And we are just getting started!
January
On 26 January, our office in the Netherlands hosted the Hello Shopware conference - the event similar to the Shopware United Days that we organise. It was a great opportunity to build an international e-commerce community, establish new business relationships and share knowledge. We also got to know better our colleagues from the Netherlands agency ShopWorks, which joined the Srix Group last year.

February
On 1 February, ShopWorks officially changed its name to Strix NL and adopted our branding! It was a huge step for us to become an international e-commerce leader and a rare example of a successful westward expansion of a Polish brand. The Netherlands branch of Strix focuses on providing services in the area of consulting, design, implementation and maintenance of online shops for customers from the Benelux countries.

On 13 February, we published our ebook on online sales in the B2B sector. The digital transformation of the business sector has finally become a reality, but the industry still faces many challenges. To help businesses overcome these challenges and harness the potential of e-commerce to optimise sales, we have prepared a comprehensive resource in the form of a guide.
The ebook includes:
- The characteristics of online sales for business.
- Distinguish between B2B and B2C sectors.
- Tips on how to make your online sales more effective.
- Analysis of tools typical of business e-commerce.
- Case study of the implementation of a B2B sales platform.
- Interview with Kacper Gugala - Regional Manager of Shopware.

March
On 1 March, we unveiled our solution for business sellers - B2B Box - allowing them to start selling online expressly. B2B Box is the answer to one of the biggest difficulties faced by business sellers, namely the long implementation time and high implementation costs.
The Magento template-based implementation model enables you to start selling online in as little as 3 months. Functionalities designed with B2B customers in mind allow you to improve the shopping experience and personalise your offer at the individual customer level!
B2B Box features:
- Individual prices for each client.
- Personalised price lists for specific customer groups.
- Support for multiple languages, markets and currencies.
- Custom roles and permissions for customers and vendors.
- Inventory management.
- Assignment of sales representatives.
- ...and much more.

On 2 March, we appeared at eTradeShow - the largest e-commerce trade fair in Poland. The three-day event was opened by Borys Skraba with his presentation about the development and evolution of the e-commerce industry in Poland. In the afternoon, Kasia Sokół - Customer Success Manager at Strix - led a panel discussion on cybersecurity.
On 28 March, we officially announced the German webweit agency joining the Strix Group! The company is already the second foreign agency to become part of the group, contributing to our growth strategy in the Western European market. The webweit agency is one of the most recognisable and reputable Shopware implementation agencies in Germany. Many years of experience, a stable market position and the trust of our customers are values we hold very close to us at Strix, and we are happy to be able to develop them in an expanded international line-up!

April
On 10 and 11 May, the Strix representation went to Impact'23 - the most prestigious business and technology event in the CEE region. Among the invited guests and speakers were experts, managers, politicians and public figures from all over the world, so we are very proud to be among such a group. Natalie Portman, David Wengrow, Valerie Jarrett from the Obama Foundation, Raja Rajamannar from MasterCard, Adam Tooze from Columbia University, Ana Paula De Jesus Assis from IBM, Rahel Solomon from CNN and US Ambassador to Poland Mark Brzezinski are just a few names from the more than 600 speakers who addressed Impact'23.

On the first day of the conference, we organised a business lunch together with BBK - the owner of the Home&You brand. During the meeting, we talked about a project we carried out for the client - we launched the marketplace in 3 months!
The event also featured speeches and panel discussions, in which we appeared as speakers.
Strix CEO Borys Skraba gave a presentation in which he analysed the biggest mistakes of online retailers on the European market and pointed out the dangers of misplaced investments, inefficient internal structures and neglecting customer relationships.
Magdalena Limanówka-Kuciel, CTO at Strix, participated in a panel discussion on the role of women and gender diversity in new technologies.
Łukasz Woźnica, our Head of Business Development, shared his experience in a conversation about online customer engagement and how to fully realise the digital promise.

On 23 and 24 May, the Ecommerce Challenge conference, a strategic networking forum for the e-retail sector, took place, of which we were a partner. The theme of this year's edition was profitability in times of crisis. Speakers included representatives from key brands selling online and strategic and operational experts, including two speakers from Strix.
On 23 May, after weeks of preparation, we were finally able to officially announce the rebranding of the German webweit agency, which joined the Strix Group in March this year. The company, now known as Strix DE, will be responsible for building our position in the German market and implementing Shopware-based solutions. The joint branding and operational processes allow us to strengthen cooperation within the group and share our experience on projects with international teams.
June
On 1 June, Borys Skraba spoke at the Digital Evolution for Pharma & Medical Forum conference with his presentation on digitalisation in the healthcare sector. The presentation focused on the business development of the medical sector in the post-pandemic era and the potential of e-commerce tools in building a better shopping experience and expanding the customer base.
On 5 June, we published an ebook, 'E-commerce and digital transformation in the medical sector'. The material centres around outlining the business nature of the medical industry before and after the pandemic, analysing the needs of different customer groups and the challenges facing the industry, and proposing technology solutions for this market.
The material also includes contributions from experts and practitioners. Anna Rydzewska, Miłosz Sokół and Jakub Gierszyński shared their experience and valuable perspective.

On 6 June in Warsaw, in the unique space of Warsaw Spire, a business lunch took place, which we organised together with our technology partner commercetools. The event was aimed at sharing experiences, establishing business contacts and expanding knowledge of the latest trends and technologies.
Among the invited guests were representatives of the largest e-commerce companies in Poland, entrepreneurs and experts connected with the development of online sales.

On 16 June we organised a teambuilding meeting in Krakow for Strixers from all 3 offices - Poland, the Netherlands and Germany. It was the first occasion when we could meet all together and get to know each other better. The first item on the agenda was an urban game, taking place in the most charming corners of Krakow. The competition was fierce, but everyone did well. We then moved to a venue where we played bowling, listened to a presentation by the management about their plans for the future and enjoyed drinks and delicious food until the morning.

We’re not slowing down!
Six months of intensive expansion are behind us. We’ve been focused on visibility and building an international position that is as stable as the one we have in Poland. This would not have been possible without the Strix team standing behind every success, project, ebook, webinar and conference. Thank you for working with us to turn goals into reality. We can't wait to see what the rest of 2023 will bring!
